Recovery and Relapse Prevention Coaching

Recovery, translated into your actual life

Treating addiction is one decision. Staying stopped is thousands of smaller ones, made at work, at home and in the evenings. Recovery Coaching is practical, structured support for those decisions.

A Lighthouse Recovery Coach works with you to plan, practise and review. The work is non-clinical and sits alongside medical care and therapy, never in place of it.

What Recovery Coaching Covers

Workload and
Boundaries

Redesigning the working week so recovery is protected, not squeezed in around everything else.

Triggers at Home
and Work

Identifying the people, places, pressures and feelings that make drinking more likely, and planning for them.

Accountability

A support circle with clear roles and back-ups, so no one person carries the plan.

Setting Your Own Pace

Reviews at 30, 90 and 180 days. The plan changes as you do.

How It Works

  1. Introduction call. A free, confidential conversation about where you are and what you need.

  2. Baseline. A short assessment of Addiction history and current risk, and agreement on which clinicians are involved. This often includes referring to one of our trusted associates in the field to help you build a support team.

  3. Your plan, in writing. Triggers, early warning signs, crisis steps and boundaries, in your words.

  4. Regular sessions online or in person in London.

  5. Review. The plan is reviewed and adjusted at set points.

Relapse Prevention Programme

Plan for the hard days. In writing. Before you need it.

Relapse is a recognised risk in recovery. It is not a verdict on character, and it is not inevitable. The Relapse Prevention Programme prepares you for it: what to watch for, what to do, and who to call, set out in a plan you have written yourself with the support and encouragement of your Recovery Coach.

The Programme is built for people who have halted their addiction or are planning to, and want structured support that holds under pressure, including those running businesses or senior teams.

Who It Is For

The Programme is designed for adults who have stopped, or are about to stop, their substance use and who want structure beyond willpower. It runs alongside medical and therapeutic care, not instead of it. Anyone who has been drinking heavily and regularly should speak to a doctor before stopping.
